Many carriers duplicate the policies of other carriers exactly on LMRP.net. The Auto-process function of CodeQuest eliminate duplicate efforts involved in processing the same policy multiple times.
Policies are processed in order of importation. The first policy of a duplicate set becomes the root policy of the set and its ID number (automatically assigned on import) also becomes the ID number of the Set.
The ID number and Duplicate number of Root Policies of a duplicate set are the same number.
Duplicates are displayed on the Duplicate List under the reports menu in Duplicate ID order. The Auto-Process function allows the operator to process only the root policy of a duplicate set, then copy the results to the other policies in the Set one by one under visual manual review with a single keystroke for each member of the duplicate set.
